Flying Firkin has been operating from Colne, Lancashire since its founding in 1993 as a leading specialist beer supplier to events where cask ale is served and to pubs that want something a little different on their hand pulls. In summer 2021 Flying Firkin moved to its new site in Accrington, Lancashire.

Our Flying Firkin staff have accumulated many years of experience working with brewers & festival organisers, seeking out and selecting the best beers available for the season ahead.

Our delivery drivers provide face to face advice when delivering your order. We pride ourselves on supplying customers with their complete beer requirements, doing the hard work of foraging for something special and delivering stock to you in the best possible condition.

We hold core stock in our temperature-controlled warehouses, keeping beers in the best possible condition. We know that quality standards are vital for our customers, so we target Salsa or SIBA FSQ accredited suppliers.

We will deliver everything in one delivery, either by pallet haulier or on our own dray.

We carefully select beers from over 200 UK brewers and hold a catalogue of over 1,500 beers, working with a range of breweries from long established brewers producing old favourites, to small independent start-up brewers, and everything in between.

Every 4 months we update and reissue the total catalogue of beers to reflect the changing availability from our brewers, this ensures we offer you the very best options of seasonal and special event beers.

Our partner brewers are constantly innovating and use seasonal ingredients to produce beers that can enhance any bar or festival, so look out for changes to our range dated – January to April, May to August and Sept to December each year.
